Alejandro González Iñárritu on what

Alejandro González Iñárritu's “Bardo” is the director's
most personal film to date
and probably his most daring, which definitely says something when you tell me
about the filmmaker behind “Birdman”
and “The Revenant”. While those films had their logistical
and physical challenges
"Bardo" examined Iñárritu with a more intellectual
and emotional feel.
“The material in this film is different from any film he's ever done,” he told
IndieWire's Filmmaker Toolkit podcast.
“There is no story, there is no structure, there is no plot.
