BAFTA Awards 2023: See the full list of nominees

There have been a few surprises in some of the 24 categories, including a strong showing from "All Quiet at the Western Front," a lead with 14 nominations.

Nominations for the 2023 British Academy Film Awards, or BAFTA Awards, had been announced.

Released via Netflix last fall to little fanfare, however, it has gained considerable momentum as awards season ramps up.

"The Banshees of Inisherin" follows "All Quiet" with ten nominations, including nominations for lead Colin Farrell and supporting actors Kerry Condon

Brendan Gleeson and Barry Keoghan. On the same account is "Everything Anywhere Abruptly," 

the independent hit that became the first film from distributor A24 to hit the $100 million box office mark.

The awards rite, which highlights some of the excellent British and international contributions to cinema from the 12 months, will take place on February 19 at 7pm
