Bills WR Cole Beasley elevated from practice squad, energetic against Dolphins

Buffalo gives wide receiver Cole Beasley the training squad extension and he's ready for the team's key AFC East game

against the Miami Dolphins on Saturday night, just days after he was re-signed Tuesday.

Beasley retired from the NFL after playing video games with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers before this season.

He hasn't played a game since October, but he said this week that he seems fit for a game.

The payments left open the possibility of him playing less than a week after signing

because of his familiarity with the offense despite the fact that there is a new coordinator this season in Ken Dorsey.

"What we wouldn't have to do if we played him is have a hiccup like he's not in football shape right now

That could be up to [head coach] Sean [McDermott], Dorsey and [coach receiver] wide]
