Shitty unicorns won't be the first thing you notice when you
consider the Black Eyed Peas' "My Humps," but now that a poopy toy line is playing a suspiciously
they could be a solid number two. Controlling BMG Rights, the Black Eyed
Peas' songwriter, isn't happy about that, and as Reuters reports, BMG is suing the surprise Poopsie
Poopsie Slime marvel comes from MGA, responsible for the line of Bratz dolls.
According to the lawsuit, "My Poops" acts on one of the dolls when you press a button
The similarities between "My Humps" and "My Poops" aren't apparent from the first
real breath of synths, but they're unmistakable when the chorus reaches your ears
my poop, my poop," sings the unicorn. The lyrics go, "What you
gonna do with all that poop, all that poop?" He adds: "I push my parents to go crazy
I do it every day," he says at a pace
comparable to Fergie's. “I drive these brothers crazy, I do it in the newspaper.
BMG alleges that the wonder of Poopsie
Slime has earned MGA tens of millions of dollars and that the organization ignored stop
and-desist warnings. They
may be asking for $10 million in damages.
