To find the top spots to get away with your pet pals, 10Best editors partnered with a panel of experts to select 20 nominees, then readers voted for the 10 best pet-friendly hotels.

 L'Auberge de Sedona - Sedona, Arizona. Take your pup on a high desert escape with a stay at L'Auberge de Sedona, where dog-friendly cottages come equipped with dog beds, food and water bowls and a goodie bag filled with treats, cleanup bags, a toy and a map of nearby walking trails.

Napa River Inn - Napa, California. Napa River Inn is located in the Historic Napa Mill, a landmark in this California town since 1884. Napa River's Very Important Pet Program includes gourmet treats, a custom blanket, a placemat and stainless steel food and water bowls.

La Valencia - La Jolla, California. The historic Pink Lady of La Jolla welcomes guests and up to two dogs with a nightly pet fee. The Pampered Pooches Package includes a plush dog bed, dog bowls, a souvenir pink tennis ball and a daily credit for the hotel's dog menu.

Barnsley Resort - Adairsville, Georgia. Furry and four-legged friends are always welcome at the Barnsley Resort, where pups enjoy more than 3,000 acres of natural beauty. Pet-friendly accommodations include the Cottage Suites and Arbor Cottages, which come outfitted with pet beds, bowls, bottled water and treats.

The Seabird Resort - Oceanside, California. The Seabird Resort in Oceanside, California welcomes guests with up to two dogs for an additional fee per pet. Although dogs are not permitted on the Strand or pier, dog-friendly North Beach and Bluffs Beach are within a half-hour drive.

The Bristol Hotel - Bristol, Virginia. The Bristol Hotel offers several pet-friendly rooms, where up to two pets (dogs or cats) are welcome and can be left unattended. Furry guests are provided with pet beds, food and water trays, treats and toys, and there’s a grassy relief area complete with a waste station in front of the hotel.

The Broadmoor - Colorado Springs, Colorado. The history of The Broadmoor – an iconic hotel in Colorado Springs – dates back to 1918 when it welcomed its first guests. John D. Rockefeller was the hotel's first celebrity guest, staying the night of June 1, 1918. Today, the 5,000-acre resort offers a full-service spa, three golf courses and a stellar hotel restaurant, The Penrose Room.

Pasea Hotel & Spa - Huntington Beach, California. This Huntington Beach hotel enjoys its own private dog park, as well as pet-friendly conveniences such as in-room beds, food and water bowls, welcome amenities and pet items in the gift shop. The Huntington Dog Beach, where dogs can go for a swim leash-free, is only a couple miles away.

Bobby Hotel - Nashville, Tennessee. Animals of any size are welcome at Bobby Hotel in Nashville and enjoy extras like dog treats in the mini bar and pet meals on the room service menu. Guests, canine or human, at Bobby are currently greeted by Hairy, the hotel’s dog-in-residence. Hairy is being trained as a service dog, and once his time is up at Bobby, he'll be given away to someone who can benefit from his support.

XV Beacon - Boston, Massachusetts. All four-legged guests are warmly welcomed at XV Beacon in Boston with a range of amenities for your pooch. Dogs receive a housemade dog biscuit at check-in, sleep in plush beds and enjoy a nightly turn down water service.
