TCU lovers prefer to force Arizona while Southwest Airways woes persist

DALLAS - The TCU Horned Frogs are set to make history this Saturday, playing for the first time in the College Football Playoff Semifinal

But, due to the public relations catastrophe and the Southwest Airlines holiday shuttle, TCU fans are part of the tens of thousands of weary travelers

"I'm doing this trip by myself and all in one day," said Jamie Plunkett, a journalist for FrogsToday.Com. "I have to get there. I'm already 24 hours l

WFAA reached Plunkett with the help of Zoom near the end of their adventure. He chose to start at 4:30 a.m. m. Tuesday and push the more than 1,000 miles 

"I couldn't locate any flights from Southwest to Phoenix until Friday," he said. "I wasn't going to attend that long because I have a job to do."

And he is no longer alone. Frog lovers on social media and various frog forums admit they are also deciding to push or remember taking Phoenix
