But since the bike paths hadn't been cleared, he turned his electric motorcycle into a DIY snowplow using leftover parts to get his fix.

Phil Marciniak of Saanich, British Columbia built the intrepid device after working on some prototype designs.

He uses an electric shipping bike for his job as an appliance repairman, so he already had a huge electric motorcycle on hand that 

And with a background in maintenance and painting, he was able to seamlessly fabricate a snowplow for his shipping electric bike.

The cutting edge design he is showing uses a junk plow made from sections of an old 200 liter polyethylene rainwater barrel 

The design already has some deep iterations. The remaining year he experimented with advanced prototypes, such as a simple angled plow,
